Payment of commissions for travel agencies
Commission payments are made by means of a monthly electronic invoice (CFDI for its initials in Spanish).
For travel agencies in Mexico, a cumulative minimum of $150 pesos (one hundred and fifty pesos) is required to process the payment of commissions, providing the minimum amount will be paid in the next period.
For travel agencies abroad, a cumulative minimum of $100 USD (one hundred dollars) is required to process the payment of commissions, providing the minimum amount will be paid in the next period.
Commission claims must be made 6 months prior the application. The travel agency will have 6 months from the day of guest’s departure to apply for the payment of commissions.
Travel agencies must be registered in order to apply for commission payments. If they are not registered in our Express Commission Payment Program (Pago Express de Comisiones, PEC) the following form should be completed: “PEC Agency registration”
