There’s not much difference between day and night when it comes to partying in Los Cabos. This nature and fun paradise is packed with alternatives for unforgettable afternoons, evenings and early mornings.

We made an intensive guide to the party scene in Los Cabos, from San Lucas to San Jose, from night starters to night enders!

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas is ground zero for the party scene in Los Cabos, so you have plenty of both day and night options.

Mango Deck is a well known daytime bar by the beach. If you’re looking for a wild-on, full blown spring break experience, this should be your first choice.

Another nice choice for either day or sunset parties is Blue Marlin Ibiza, which caters to more of a young adult crowd. Although less intense than the Mango Deck, parties here are loud and long, with tech-house DJs doing sunset sets for a spaced out audience chilling in or by the pool.

At night, you can go as deep into the rabbit hole of Cabo San Lucas’ nightlife as you wish to. Cabo Wabo Cantina is a classic, colorful place with tasty drinks and live rock bands. Not the hottest spot in town, but charming in its own way.

If you’re after the whole night club experience, you can’t miss Mandala and Pink Kitty. The former is an open space that plays anything from hip-hop to techno as the night progresses. Rumor has it that you must order the Sorry Mom cocktail if you really want to kickstart the night. The latter is an elegant, japanese-themed night club whose nights are known to last longer than most places in town. DJs like Steve Aoki have played here.

If you’re more of a party animal -or want to feel like one for a night-, El Squid Roe is the place for you. Picture a three story, theatre-like club with a “streets of London” theme. Over stimulation is the perfect way to describe the dazzling lights, heavy breathing and loud music that goes on in here. Waiters carry spray tanks full of tequila and confetti blows through the air. This is what party looks like in Los Cabos.

San Jose del Cabo

San Jose del Cabo has a more laid-back vibe to it. For daytime fun and amazing sunsets, hit Baja Brewing Company. Enjoy a variety of tasty local craft beers while relaxing at the terrace, which boasts one of the best ocean views in the city.

La Casa del Vino de Baja California is a classy place that is ideal to kick the night off. Taste some of the best local wines and learn more about the winemaking process while meeting interesting people.

Care for a live rock show? La Reserva Rock & Beer and Rock & Brews are two different -albeit similar- places for the task.

The electronic night club niche in San José del Cabo is covered by 11:11 Disco Room, a nice place with a cool vibe and a mix of locals and tourists.

Along the Los Cabos Corridor are several places that are great for after hours and after parties, such as Sunset Point Lounge, The Rooftop at The Cape and Zipper’s Bar.
